Ab Tak Channel has run a one sided and fictional story in its programme Be naqaab on 2nd Feb. The contents lacked substance and factual basis. The host even did not care to verify facts from the Ministry of Planning Development and Reform much against the norms and ethics of healthy journalism. Such programmes create temporary sensational bubbles which burst in no time. The programme seems to have been motivated by some ill will and in the process showed complete ignorance of ministerial working and rules.
It is worthwhile to mention that the working of the ministry is carried out in an efficient and judicious manner with high regard for rules and procedure and passing through audit procedures.
