Engr.Shaoor Islam Khattak, Joined Energy Wing as Research Officer (Fuel) in 1992. He is serving as Chief (Fuel) since June, 2015. He holds M.Sc in Petroleum Geo-Science from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway and B.Sc. Mining Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan. A Professional Mining/Petroleum Engineer having over 28 years’ experience in project appraisal, monitoring & evaluation, development of short /long term plans and analysis of energy sector policies related to exploration, development and utilization of energy resources. He has attended various local and foreign courses on energy and management. He is a member of Board of Governors, Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan (HDIP), Petroleum Division and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
